When students think about university memories, they often imagine the big moments.
Graduation photos. Major events. Huge parties or festivals.
But surprisingly, many of the memories people talk about years later are the smallest ones.
Sometimes it's the random things that stick.
Like:
They're not the moments you schedule, they just happen.
A lot of these moments start with something simple: saying yes.
Yes to joining a game. Yes to attending an event. Yes to hanging out even if you feel tired.

It doesn't mean you have to do everything, but occasionally stepping outside your routine can lead to experiences you didn't expect.
Assignments, deadlines, and exams make up a big part of university life, but they aren't the whole story.
University is also a place where you:
Those experiences are just as important as what happens in lectures.
At the time, everything might feel busy or stressful.
But later on, when you look back, you might realise that some of the best memories were the simplest ones.

Moments spent with people. Moments where you tried something new. Moments where university felt a little lighter.
Final thought: And those are the memories that stay.
